An invisible border, a symbol of the separation between genders in Iran which is created through culture, religious limitations and boundaries.

Iran has a gender specific society in which the separation between genders starts from preschool for every child and it continues through out their lifetime in many aspects of social and community based activities such as educational system, public transportation, public buildings, mosques, etc.
The plexyglass functions as a free association technique in this performance, a space for men and women (in this case the artists's parent) to start having indirect conversation through writing and breaking the symbolic gender based invisible wall by being conscious of this division.
